Generally speaking, investing in one of the biggest banks gives you greater access to a variety of goods and services. What are the biggest banks in America? We can find out about it here.

What Are The Biggest Banks In America?

We looked at domestic asset sizes of organizations that provide services to both consumers and small companies to identify the biggest banks in the United States. Instead of investment banks, the list covers retail banks for consumer banking. Among other things, a ban k's assets consist of the sum of its credit card, mortgage, and loan accounts.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. includes Chase, the leading bank for individuals and small companies. Out of all the largest banks, it shares a tie for having the most locations throughout the most states and the largest branch network with Wells Fargo.

The second-largest bank with locations in the second-most states is Bank of America. It offers the fewest branches of the top three banks on the list, but it shares a tie with Chase for the most ATMs.

The bank with the most locations is a tie between Wells Fargo and Chase. But Wells Fargo has the fewest ATMs available among the top three biggest banks.

Citibank is one of the banks on this list with the fewest branches, but it does have one of the largest domestic networks of ATMs.

The 2019 combination of BB&T and SunTrust Bank produced Truist Bank. With sites on the East Coast, in the Midwest, and in the South, it has the fifth-highest number of branches of any bank on our list.

What Big Banks Are Involved In Crypto?

In a rapidly evolving digital environment, banks are embracing blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies to boost productivity, cut costs, provide better security and transparency, and meet clients' evolving expectations.

The London-based Standard Chartered bank has made a startling $380 million investment in cryptocurrencies, according to well-known industry analysts like Blockdata.

With a $234 million commitment overall, Morgan Stanley is one of the major banks that have made large cryptocurrency bets.

Citigroup has been actively investigating blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies ever since launching its digital currency, Citicoin, in 2015.

JPMorgan Chase is one of the organizations that is most engaged in the cryptocurrency and blockchain space. The bank's cryptocurrency, JPM Coin, was launched in 2019 to facilitate quick payments among institutional clients.
