This article is about what are the key features of Sphere crypto. Sphere Finance is a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol built on the Polygon network. It serves as a meta-governance center and aims to provide benefits to liquidity providers in its ecosystem. The native token of Sphere Finance is called SPHERE, which also acts as the governance token for the protocol.

What are the Key Features of Sphere Finance Crypto?

Sphere Finance aims to provide users with real and high yields through its ecosystem projects, taxes, and smart investment strategies.

Key features of Sphere Finance include:

Deflationary Mechanism: The SPHERE token has a deflationary design, including a burn mechanism that has already burned a significant number of tokens. Additionally, the protocol does not mint new tokens, contributing to a decreasing token supply over time.

Exposure to Various Crypto Projects: As a holder of the SPHERE token, users gain exposure to a diverse range of crypto projects, making Sphere Finance comparable to the S&P 500 of the crypto world.

Real Yield and High Rewards: Sphere Finance implements a real yield mechanism, where rewards are based on the actual funds generated by the protocol in real life. The protocol offers a high daily reward of 1.91%, which is automatically staked and added to the wallet. The protocol also performs regular rebasing to maintain price stability.

Yield Sources: The yield provided by Sphere Finance comes from various sources, including ecosystem projects and taxes on buying and selling the SPHERE token, with tax rates set between 13% and 20%.

Dynamic Tax: The protocol uses a Dynamic Tax system, where the higher an individual's share in the Sphere ecosystem, the more tax they pay. These taxes contribute to the rewards for SPHERE token holders and fund the protocol's operations.

How does Sphere Finance Work?

Sphere Finance operates on the principle of real yield and utilizes various mechanisms to generate rewards for its users. Here's how Sphere Finance works:

Real Yield Mechanism: Sphere Finance implements a real yield mechanism, where the protocol generates yield based on the actual funds it accumulates in real life. This yield is then distributed to token holders.

Taxes on Buying and Selling SPHERE Token: When users buy or sell the SPHERE token, a tax is applied, ranging from 13% to 20% of the transaction value. These taxes are used to generate real yield for the platform and fund various aspects of the ecosystem.

Allocation of Taxes: The taxes collected from buying and selling the SPHERE token are allocated to different parts of the ecosystem:

Investment Treasury: Receives 3% to 5% of the taxes. This treasury is used to set up a crypto basket that funds the protocol.

Liquidity Pool: Receives 5% of the taxes. This pool ensures seamless buying and selling of the SPHERE token in the liquidity pool.

Risk-Free Value: Receives 5% to 10% of the taxes. This value acts as a hedge against market volatility, helping to stabilize the SPHERE token's price.

Ecosystem Projects: Sphere Finance has several ecosystem projects that contribute to its real yield. These projects include:

Dyson: A multichain platform that offers perpetual yield farming. Users can lock their SPHERE tokens to gain governance rights.

SphereLend: The protocol's lending market where users can deposit stablecoins and receive yield from assets like ETH or MATIC.

Galaxy Marketplace: A platform where users can buy SPHERE tokens directly from the treasury at a discounted rate.

Penrose & Unknown: Yield aggregators and liquid wrapper solutions that contribute to the ecosystem's overall yield.

Preon: A zero-interest lending protocol that offers unique lending opportunities.

Covenant: A marketplace for bribing services. Users can refer to the project's documentation for further details on this feature.

Bottom Line

In this article, we have discussed what are the key features of Sphere Finance crypto. As with any DeFi project, users should exercise caution, conduct due diligence, and understand the associated risks before participating or investing in Sphere Finance.
