What are white hat hackers? White Hat or Ethical hackers are experts in computer security who focus on penetration testing and other sorts of testing to ensure the safety of an organization's information systems.

What are white hat hackers?

Also known as “ethical hackers,” white hat hackers can be paid employees or contractors working for companies as security specialists that attempt to find security holes via hacking. White hat hackers are skilled at breaking into networks and exposing vulnerabilities in the computer systems of major businesses, government agencies, and other large organizations.

They hack the system from the loopholes in the cybersecurity of the organization. This hacking is done to test the level of cybersecurity in the organization. By doing so, they identify the weak points and fix them to avoid attacks from external sources. White hat hackers work per the rules and regulations the government sets. White hat hackers are also known as ethical hackers.

The goals of these types of hackers are to help businesses and have an appetite for detecting gaps in networks' security. They aim to protect and assist companies in the ongoing battle against cyber threats. A White Hat hacker is any individual who will help protect the company from raising cyber crimes. They help enterprises create defenses, detect vulnerabilities, and solve them before other cybercriminals can find them.

How The White Hat Hackers Benefit the Crypto Industry

Every information system has flaws, especially when it comes to assets. Nobody wants to lose their money since people are so sensitive to it.

In the cryptocurrency market, whitehats serve as threat-removal agents. They run pen tests to find potential security weaknesses in the system, conduct stress testing to check for malicious software, or even purposefully launch DoS or DDoS attacks. They thereby raise the level of security for the cryptocurrency market.

We are moving towards a new Internet era known as Web 3.0 and a completely digital world. The crypto space is one of the integral components of this process. That's why white hat hackers do an important job to make the market fair, speeding up the full-fledged emergence of web 3.0.
