What do wealthy people invest in? Wealthy people are now including cryptocurrencies in their investment portfolios. Why do they do it, though? Let's see.

What do wealthy people invest in? How did cryptocurrency get included in their investments?

Rich people have doubled their cryptocurrency investments as a substitute for investing in gold to combat inflation.

These wealthy investors are undoubtedly correct. The limited supply of bitcoin, which is frequently referred to as "digital gold," could theoretically safeguard against inflation, but its long-term effectiveness as an inflation hedge is still unknown.

Of course, owing to finance apps that make it simple, regular investors can now invest in cryptocurrencies. Cash App, a peer-to-peer payment service owned by Square Inc., allows users to buy bitcoin only. PayPal allows users to purchase four different cryptocurrencies: bitcoin, Ethereum, bitcoin cash, and litecoin. Users holding crypto on PayPal can then use it to check out on the app as well.

The popular dogecoin meme cryptocurrency is one of seven supported cryptocurrencies that users may purchase using the mobile stock investing app Robinhood. Additionally, SoFi, a personal finance company, lets users buy 21 different coins and crypto tokens through its app. Coinbase provides a platform to purchase, trade, swap, store, and send over 50 different types of cryptocurrencies if you want more control and direct ownership over your digital assets.

Conclusion

It's interesting to know the answer to "What do wealthy people invest in?" as we enter a new year with growing inflation at the forefront of their minds.
