In this article, we will discuss what is CoolWallet. Hardware wallets are developed for the highest level of security for crypto holders. They protect the private keys inside the device in a safe chip – offline. They are the best place to store your crypto assets. They are “cold wallets” or “cold storage ".

What is Cool Wallet?

This integration of both cold and hot wallet options for our users has been part of our plans for a long time, with roots all the way back to our launch in 2014. CoolWallet was after all created to provide a hot wallet-like experience for a cold wallet (convenient, available on your phone, feature-packed).

CoolWallet offers state-of-the-art hardware wallets. It comes with a unique and sleek design without compromising its decentralized security protocols.

CoolWallet Pro is a hardware wallet made for iOS and Android devices. It works with the CoolBitX Crypto Wallet App using a Bluetooth connection.

CoolWalet Pro is bendable, water-resistant, and tamper-proof for extra durability.

CoolWallet Pro is a credit card-sized Bluetooth cold wallet that stores your cryptocurrency in secure cold storage that fits inside your actual wallet.

It comes with its own charging port and has a bluetooth connection which allows it to connect with any android or iOS device through its dedicated application.

The encrypted bluetooth connection in CoolWallet Pro enables the most convenient crypto on-the-go experience.

It measures at 85.6(L) x 54(H) x 0.8(T) mm and weighs in at 65g, with 22.50mm x 13.50mm display window. It also has a button placed on the card that guarantees a button lifetime of 100.000 pushes .

It comes with Military grade Secure Element (SE) chip which makes the wallet tamper proof. While providing users with the best possible security, convenience, and functionality for managing their cryptocurrencies and tokens.

It enables the direct staking of Tron (TRX), Polkadot (DOT), and Cosmos (ATOM). You can stake and exchange cryptocurrency and connect to DApps, but also deposit USDT and earn the returns, buy cryptocurrency, and participate in Airdrops.

Don't let the tiny (and cool design) fool you. When it comes to security, CoolWallet Pro is CC EAL6+ certified, which is one of the highest security standards in the industry.

CoolWallet's Upcoming 2023 Milestones

The first half of 2023 will see CoolWallet App roll out new marquee features like a LaunchPad, an in-app Web3 browser as well as a dedicated NFT Wallet. We'll be covering all of these in our next blog post, so stay tuned.

Importantly, CoolWallet HOT will add support for WalletConnect2.0 as well as the Flare mainnet (FLR) at the end of February, enabling our users want to manage their Flare airdrop. Details will be released next month.

This will be followed up in Q3 and Q4 by multiple cold wallet support as well as a wallet extension. Of course, we'll be integrating support for more main networks and decentralized trading and staking services at the same time. We'll provide more details on all these milestones at a later date.

Bottom Line

There are many popular hardware wallets out there. But for the most secure, compact and durable one, Coolwallet is an option to choose. This article is about what is CoolWallet.
