Despite this, the bank has actively entered the crypto sector on various fronts. In 2020, JPMorgan extended banking services to crypto exchanges Coinbase and Gemini. Additionally, the bank operates the Onyx blockchain network and its own private stablecoin, JPM Coin .

JPMorgan recently conducted an international currency swap using the Polygon blockchain with two Singapore banks. It also partnered with Visa last month to integrate its blockchain product Liink with Visa's business-to-business Connect network.
