What Is P2E Meaning? P2E are the games where players have the ability to earn revenue while they play. This article will walk you through what P2E games are, and how to invest in them.

What Are They?

Play to Earn (P2E) games are games in which users are paid in some form to play. The concept is quite simple but is now turning into a revolution. These games allow video gamers to collect or farm cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens (NFTs ) that can be sold on the market. When these games are played on a regular basis, players can earn more tokens or items to generate income or sell them further.

How To Invest In P2E

Playing P2E Games With Scholarship Program

When Axie Infinity launched its governance token AXS to open exchanges during the pandemic in 2020, the hype surrounding these games started to build. Axie Infinity's protocol income increased by an astounding 12,047% in just three months as a result of the decline of an increase. Its revenue was just under $3 million in May 2020 and reached a peak of $364.4 million in August of that same year. But there was one specific barrier for Axie Infinity players: in order to play the game and earn rewards, you must purchase three Axie characters (NFTs).

As a result, if you want to play the game but don't have $1,200 to spare, you could apply for a guild scholarship program. The scholarship program is the one where the guild and the player both share a part of the profits.

Renting Your in-game NFTs

So you don't want to play the game? By owning NFTs and renting them to guilds, you can still profit from P2E. This trend is relatively new to the NFT industry, but it has received a lot of attention. Although not many guilds Provide this service, it is certain to become popular, just like play-to-earn.

Invest in NFT Games And Guilds

The third option is to directly invest in the games and guilds if you don't want to play the games and don't own game NFTs. You can do this in a few different ways.

There is usually a pre-sale round on Launchpad before an organization's token is listed on a public exchange. This is when the public can have the opportunity to invest in the token at a pre-sale value, which is usually much lower than the initial exchange offering. It's quite competitive; you might not be guaranteed of receiving a specific allocation; there are also some restrictions on allocation amounts and vesting periods.

You might also think about investing in them by getting them from the exchanges once they are openly traded. Compare decentralized exchanges, such as PancakeSswap or Uniswap, with centralized exchanges like Binance or Kucoin.

Depending on how they have designed the token utility, you may also be able to stake your coins. For example, if you buy Axie Infinity's AXS token, you can stake it and earn more rewards.

What Is P2E Meaning? How To Invest In P2E? - Hopefully, this article can help you to understand it better.
