Yearn Finance is a holistic collection of decentralized finance (DeFi) products. So what is the contract address for YFI and whether YFI is built on Ethereum. Let’s find out by reading the article below.

What is the contract address for YFI?

Yearn . Finance (YFI) ERC20 token on Binance Smart Chain mainnet. The token is implemented as an ERC20 smart contract at address 0x0bc529c00C6401aEF6D220BE8C6Ea1667F6Ad93e with the decimal of 18 places.

Is YFI built on Ethereum?

Yearn is built on top of the Ethereum blockchain. The finance protocol eliminates the need for financial intermediaries such as banks and provides cryptocurrency investors and token holders with access to its range of lending and trading services, including Vaults, Zap, Earn and APY.

How Many Yearn.Finance (YFI) Tokens Are in Circulation?

The native token of the Yearn Finance protocol, YFI, will initially have a maximum supply of 30,000 tokens. Yearn had no pre-mine prior to launch, nor did its developers receive any initial funding the circulating supply at launch was 0 YFI.

Since launch, most of the supply has entered circulation (and the max supply has been inflated). The success of Yearn Finance is reflected in its high token price and active user base.

How secure is Yearn Finance Network?

Yearn Finance users are sometimes exposed to a moderate risk of loss due to rapidly changing market conditions and opportunistic entities attempting to profit from inexperienced participants.

In order to maintain transparency about the potential risks of the platform, creator Andre Cronje made it clear in the community that even after an independent code audit, Yearn Finance cannot always be guaranteed to be 100% secure. It’s just a fact of decentralized finance: DeFi involves inherent risk.

I hope this article will help you to learn what is the contract address for YFI and whether YFI is built on Ethereum. Yearn Finance and its suite of decentralized finance products will be of great interest to anyone looking to earn passive interest on their cryptocurrency holdings - without the need for a custodian or intermediary.
