Together with Columbia University, they have opened a brand-new research facility. The center is situated on the New York City campus of Columbia University in Manhattan. The primary goal will be to develop blockchain applications using a combination of technical and intellectual knowledge.

A dedicated group made up of IBM research scientists and Columbia faculty members will start considering suggestions for blockchain "curriculum development, business initiatives, and research programs" later this year.

The center will emphasize the significance of regulatory concerns for blockchain firms and offer internship opportunities for students and professionals interested in the technology to advance their technical abilities. Due to the inclusion of this area, the institution anticipates a large numbers rise in the choice .

A certification from the London School of Economics is now available that covers "practical abilities to interface with cryptocurrency exchanges" and "skills to analyze the analytics" of initial coin offerings (ICOs). 36 world leaders, 18 Nobel laureates, and now one of The first esteemed cryptocurrency certifications, "Cryptocurrency Investment and Disruption," have all come from the LSE.

The Stanford University Center for Blockchain Research was established by a group of computer scientists with funding from leading blockchain initiatives. The practical, ethical, and social issues surrounding blockchain will be addressed, and a curriculum will be created to aid in adoption. They will also design courses to assist learners and professionals in managing critical documents, developing financial instruments, and safeguarding intellectual property.

The University Blockchain Research Initiative was recently established by Ripple (UBRI). $50 million will be used as the project's initial funding. 17 colleges from around the world are part of the "first wave" of partners. "Support and promote academic research, technical innovation, and advancement in blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and digital payments," is the stated objective.
