What is Vechain (VET)? What is the roadmap of Vechain?

It is reasonable to say that the mainstream adoption of cryptocurrencies has already occurred as the focus of talks began to shift from Bitcoin (BTC) to other blockchain and their use cases, such as updates to the Ethereum network. VeChain is one initiative that is already integrating cryptocurrency into business operations. So, what is Vechain? What is the roadmap of VET?

What is VeChain? What is VET crypto?

VeChain is a blockchain-based platform that aims to give actual businesses transparency, traceability, and increased blockchain functions. VeChain, in its most basic version, unites blockchain technology with the "Internet of Things" (IoT) to optimize data management, boost transparency, and significantly boost the effectiveness of corporate processes.

VeChain was initially designed as an Ethereum-based supply chain solution, but it expanded and introduced its own smart contract platform, VeChainThor, in 2018 to address a wide range of practical applications.

This open-source network provides cutting-edge functionality by enabling users within the ecosystem to create DApps that address real-world issues in order to increase real-world adoption. Its limitless potential has been accessed by sectors like logistics, food chain service, tourism, health, and food safety.

Large corporations using VeChain

2019 saw the announcement of a cooperation between VeChain and Walmart, one of the largest international retail companies that runs a chain of hypermarkets.

Thanks to a collaboration between VeChain and Walmart, consumers can track food deliveries in China using an app that shows product details and traceability data including storage conditions, delivery and pick-up times, and much more.

The BMW-VeChain ecosystem holds that creating ties to provide pooled value is crucial for growth. The platform's announcement of a relationship with BMW serves as one illustration. By using a distributed ledger mechanism to store details about the product, such as previous repairs, mileage, and other supplemental services, the agreement intends to protect BMW's products against imitated products.

The Chinese government also declared a collaboration with VeChain under the rigorous Gui'an regulations. PwC, DNV Grant Thornton, LVMH, among others, are other partnerships.

VeChain is an enterprise-level blockchain technology that, in general, aids businesses in tracking products from the manufacturer to the consumer, ensuring quality and helping businesses identify any discrepancies.

The function of VeChain (VET)

Proof-of-Authority, a variant of PoS used by VeChain (PoA). Vechain Foundation chooses who to appoint as a validator rather than requiring you to stake your coins (authority masternode).

VeChainThor, as previously said, is more centralized because speed and security are its top priorities.

VeChain chooses its nodes using deterministic pseudo-random processes (DPRP), with security as its core value. In order to enhance efficiency, it created the idea of the "active/inactive" condition of authority masternodes. Users can determine if a specific validator is permitted to produce a block or not thanks to this approach.

The platform is mostly used by large corporations and organizations who value security above all other aspects.

What are Vechain Tokens?

VeChain Token (VET) and VeChainThor Energy, sometimes known as VeThor, are the two native tokens of the VeChain ecosystem (VTHO).

The main currency, VET, is used to power all platform operations, and VTHO makes sure the entire blockchain infrastructure operates smoothly.

In other words, VTHO stands for the energy expended when smart contracts are deployed on the network and used to perform payment operations. Its major objective is to make it easier to conduct blockchain transactions.

What is VeChain’s roadmap? What are VeChain’s development plans?

VeChain appears to have put a lot of money into constructing its infrastructure since its founding in June 2015, when its TCOP design was made public. Several updates include

- Modification of the stakeholders with voting rights: Authority Masternode, Economic X Node. and Economic Node.

- Improving DApp by making it easier to use in order to improve user experience.

Is VeChain (VET) a good investment?

VET has potential and can be a wise financial decision. The cryptocurrency market has grown over the past few years despite its volatility, and it has enormous potential for growth in the future.

However, you should conduct your own study (DYOR) and evaluate the potential market price for VET before you contemplate purchasing any project.

To reduce risk and trade safely, perform some technical analysis to determine support and resistance levels.
