Today we'll talk about what to mine after Ethereum 2.0 Merge on September 15, 2022. Check out the coins that will be available for mining after September 15th. The list won't be in any particular order since as soon as the Ethereum hash rate starts moving to various coins, the profitability will be all over the place.
1. Neoxa
This is one of the newest gaming-related coins, and according to its developers, "Neoxa is a secure decentralized blockchain for the gamers, developers, and miners."
The algorithm used by Neoxa and RVN, often known as kawpow, is the same. Neoxa can be mined with AMD and Nvidia GPUs using miners such as teamredminer, nbminer and gminer. For AMD we recommend that you use teamredminer and for Nvidia gminer however other miners might support it in the future.
2. Æternity
This is not such a new coin as it has been around for some time now and it belongs to the CUCKOOCYCLE algorithm you can even find it on the nicehash pool. According to the coin's developers, DEFI and other applications resembling the Ethereum network are targeted by this coin.
With the use of miners like lolminer and gminer, ternity can be mined on both Nvidia and AMD GPUs.
3. Ravencoin
While Ravencoin has been around since about 2018, it suffered a few changes along the way to protect itself from ASIC miners. Ravencoin was the first cryptocurrency to use the kawpow algorithm. RVN is already mined by thousands of miners and it is supported by many pools and exchanges so it's safe to say that this is and probably will be a very popular coin even more after the Ethereum merge.
RVN can be mined with miners like teamredminer, gminer, t-rex, and nbminer with both AMD and Nvidia GPUs. Again, we like to advise using teamredminer for AMD, and any other one of the 3 miners will work for Nvidia.
4. ETC
This is a very known and popular coin that we are sure many miners will jump on when the merge happens in about 2 weeks' time. When there were significant differences among the Ethereum community about a network hack in 2015, ETC was created as a fork.
After Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, also known as ETC, has since become the second-best coin to mine. Because of its popularity, ETC can be mined with both Nvidia and AMD GPUs with many miners such as lolminer, teamredminer, nbminer, gminer and many others. It is also supported by many exchanges, pools, and also wallets so if you want to mine this coin you won't have any problems getting started.
