Who Owns The Most Ethereum? The majority of individuals believe that Vitalik Buterin is among the biggest Ethereum holders. But he's not! Why?

Only about 51.7 ETH are held in Vitalik Buterin's wallet.

In 2018, Vitalik released the address of his ETH wallet, which now holds around 51.7 ETH, equaling over $56,730 in value.

It's interesting that, despite the fact that Buterin's wallet might seem small, the majority of its contents have been moved to different addresses. Along with the 142 ETH in Vitalin's VB 3 wallet, there are hundreds of thousands of dollars' worth of Ethereum kept in other wallets.

Who Owns The Most Ethereum?

The biggest ETH-holding address was an ETH2 deposit smart contract, which held more than 13.1 million coins, or roughly 11% of the total ETH in circulation.

A Wrapped Ether smart contract was the second-largest ETH-holding address, with 4.28 million ETH (3.58% of the total quantity in circulation).

The third and fourth largest ETH deposits were made to wallets identified as belonging to the cryptocurrency exchanges Binance and Kraken, respectively.

The top two ethereum holders outside of those put in smart contracts and cryptocurrency exchanges are two anonymous wallet addresses, which are ranked fifth and sixth, respectively. The two undisclosed wallets contained 1.6% and 1.2% of the total supply of 5ar9 ETH, 1. or million and 1.49 million tokens, respectively.

The only two anonymous addresses among the top 10 ether holders were the two wallets described above. Smart contracts, cryptocurrency exchanges, and decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols were the only remaining protocols identified.

How much ETH early contributors and Ethereum insiders presently own is unknown.

Hopefully, reading this article, "Who Owns The Most Ethereum? How Much Ethereum Does Ethereum Founder Own?" can help you to understand it better.
