Bitcoin is a digital currency that runs without any kind of centralized management, bank supervision, or government regulation. Instead, it uses cryptography and peer-to-peer software. Why did Satoshi Nakamoto create Bitcoin? Don't you want to know about it ? If so, please continue reading this article.

Currently, there are seven decimal places in which a bitcoin can be divided: a milli is one thousandth of a bitcoin, and a satoshi is one hundred millionth of a bitcoin.

In reality, there are neither bitcoins nor wallets; rather, there is network-wide consensus regarding currency ownership. When doing a transaction, a private key is employed to demonstrate ownership of funds to the network. With a "brain wallet," which is a notion, a person only needs to memorize their private key in order to access or use their virtual money.

Why did Satoshi Nakamoto create Bitcoin?

Bitcoin was developed as a means of online money transfer. The goal of the digital currency was to offer a different form of payment that would function without centralized management but otherwise function similarly to traditional currencies.

Satoshi made it clear that the goal of developing this electronic cash system was to do away with the third parties that are typically needed to carry out electronic money transfers. These services come at a high cost to third parties, who then pass those costs along to customers, potentially limiting the size of transactions.

In brief, the current electronic payments system is owned by banks, card organizations (like Visa), and other sizable incumbens, who also charge a lot of fees. (In 2015, Visa alone brought in almost 13 billion USD.) Untangling from these players was undoubtedly a driving force behind the development of Bitcoin.

Reliance on conventional electronic payment methods has more negative effects than just covering overhead costs. These consequences force us to step back and consider how our larger financial system operates as well as the job of our government in managing the money supply.

Summary

The elimination of the third parties generally required for electronic money transfers was Satoshi's prime purpose in creating Bitcoin. So, this is why Satoshi created Bitcoin. We are a long way from a world in which bitcoins are a common replacement for fiat money issued by central banks. motivated it. Bitcoins are currently considered a new asset class.
