During the World Crypto Forum (WCF) in Davos, experts engaged in discussions about social media and the role of influencers in the crypto space. Kristina Lucrezia Cornèr participated in a panel discussion, exploring the impact of crypto influencers and media outlets in the industry. Cornèr emphasized that while many individuals outside the crypto space are attracted to the idea of getting rich, the industry offers solutions to various problems through blockchain technology. She noted that the current phase in the industry is driven by greed, but the next cycle is expected to focus on real use cases and applications. Cornèr also highlighted the importance of understanding the motivations behind entering the crypto space and the potential risks of misinformation.
Birb Nest founder and CEO Adrian Zduńczyk and Web3 Pakistan founder Bilal Bin Saqib also participated in the discussion. Saqib emphasized the role of influencers as torchbearers for the industry, acknowledging their contribution to educating people about cryptocurrencies. He noted that influencers play a crucial role in guiding individuals through market cycles and recommended that new investors invest time and effort in conducting their own research.
The WCF event coincided with the World Economic Forum in Davos, where leaders and policymakers gathered to discuss various issues affecting the global economy, including financial and regulatory matters.
