Blockchain gaming platform Gala Games has announced the acquisition of Ember Entertainment. According to an update on its Twitter and Discord accounts, the erstwhile external partner is now part of Gala Games.
After this acquisition, Gala stated that the newly acquired games have different projects, each with a unique genre. However, the company plans to integrate all of Ember Entertainment’s product portfolio into its functional blockchain network, GYRI. Gala Games is likely to be the most used blockchain.
Currently, the company is focusing on two games, Dragon Strike and Meow Match. Interestingly, following this acquisition, all cats previously owned by users of Meow Match (available on Android and iOS) will now become digital assets on the Gala blockchain. Additionally, Dragon Strike (available on Android and iOS) users will earn at least one roll of minting for every $100 they spend, enabling them to earn even more assets on Gala’s blockchain. Additionally, there are weekly win contests in the Dragon Strike game.
With this, Gala Games has taken its mobile strategy to the next level. It is worth noting that the main idea behind this development is digital ownership. As a result, players will have full control over every aspect of their gaming experience. They will have full autonomy from in-game assets like $GALA to market items.
Additionally, there will be a rule when players start burning their $GALA in exchange for gas. Starting next week, gas combustion will be analyzed and the results shared. Additionally, Gala's liquidity will be tested by users consuming gas.
Additionally, Gala Games will leverage the usual mobile gaming strategies to improve the player experience. However, a "crypto twist" will be introduced to complement the mobile gaming strategy. In this way, players can enjoy improved gameplay and games in a healthy and stable ecosystem.
