Shitcoins(Ggool) are now available, and they are a brilliant idea. This is undoubtedly among the coolest developments in cryptocurrency to date.
Urban and environmental engineering professor Cho Jae-weon teaches at Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology.
He created an environmentally friendly toilet. Not only that, though. Cho's restroom is connected to a lab that uses poop to produce biogas and fertilizer.
The BeeVi toilet is here
Professor Cho Jae-weon is the inventor of the BeeVi toilet, which combines the concepts of bees and vision.
Instead of using buckets of water, the toilet uses a vacuum function to take the waste into an underground tank.
Specially placed microorganisms in the tank break down the faeces and convert it to methane. The methane is then used as energy for the building. It has so far been used to power a solid oxide fuel cell, a gas stove, and water heating.
For every 500 grammes of the good stuff a person passes per day, 50 litres of methane gas are produced, which produces 0.5 kWh of electricity. A car can drive 1.2 kilometres on this.
Shitcoins – The Ggool
Ggool, which translates to "honey," is a cryptocurrency created by Professor Cho with the purpose of encouraging individuals to poop where it will be useful. Everyone who donates a poop to the proper throne receives 10 Ggool.
The Ggool can already be used to make purchases. Students at the university can buy things like coffee, noodles and books on campus.
