These services enable users to create human-readable domain names and cryptocurrency wallet addresses, with the de centralized domain acting as a configuration file for the Web3 ecosystem. The combined domain name registrations of Unstoppable Domains and ENS are expected to reach 6 million in early 2023, showing significant growth in registrations.
Through Unstoppable Domains, users can now purchase .eth domains and easily manage their ENS domains by adding payment methods and other features. .eth domains purchased from Unstoppable will be registered through the ENS smart contract and offer the same functionality as those registered directly through ENS . Users can also acquire .eth domains through Unstoppable without connecting them to an existing Ethereum wallet using Unstoppable Vault, a non-custodial product that allows users to secure Web3 domains even without a cryptocurrency wallet initially.
The integration with Unstoppable Domains provides ENS users with the convenience of auto-renewing their .eth domains, eliminating the need for on-chain renewals and reducing the risk of losing their domains. Additionally, Unstoppable enables .eth users to purchase their desired Web3 domains using various payment methods, including credit cards, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and 12 cryptocurrencies, expanding beyond traditional fiat payment options.
Unstoppable Domains is also developing tools for managing .eth names, such as the ability to set cryptocurrency addresses, manage on-chain profile data, and facilitate domain transfers. It is worth noting that while ENS integration is available for users who purchase .et h domains through Unstoppable, these domains will not work with Unstoppable's existing integrations, which currently number around 800. Unstoppable Domains also supports other Web3 domain names such as .nft, .crypto, .wallet, .dao, .bitcoin, .polygon, .BinanceUS, and .blockchain.
