Location: Warsaw, Poland

ETHWarsaw, a web3 conference and hackathon organized by a dedicated group of local Ethereum enthusiasts, is making its return for a second edition. Set to take place from August 31 to September 3, 2023, in Warsaw, Poland, the event aims to bring together the global web3 community, including builders, founders, and educators.

Building upon the successes of its inaugural edition, the second ETHWarsaw promises an enhanced experience, as it coincides with the inaugural Warsaw Blockchain Week, marking a significant milestone in the event's history.

Lukasz Stoczynski, co-founder and head of business development at ETHWarsaw, emphasized the team's commitment to providing a holistic experience to the global community amidst the recurrence of cryptocurrencies. This year, the event aims to transform Warsaw, al ready known as a burgering tech hub , into a thriving center for web3 activities.

The collaborative nature of the initiative is set to introduce a variety of community-organized side events, such as conferences, networking meetups, and parties. This collective effort aims to position ETHWarsaw as the largest web3 conference in the CEE region for the second con secutive year and make Warsaw Blockchain Week the largest blockchain event ever hosted in Poland.

ETHWarsaw's comprehensive program caters to both seasoned professionals and newcomers, including web2 developers and students. Over two dynamic days, the event encompasses presentations, panels, fireside chats, and is divided into six essential tracks: DeFi, Scal ability, Security, Infrastructure, Governance, and Non-Technology. Notable speakers, including figures such as Marius Van Der Wijden from the Ethereum Foundation, Akram El Miliji from Ledger, Patrick McCorry of the Arbitrum Foundation, Artis from Gitcoin, and Adam Gagol from Aleph Zero, will contribute their insights.

Similar to the previous year, the hackathon will commence on a Friday night, lasting for 48 hours of continuous building. Participants, whether individuals or teams, will have the chance to gain hands-on experience with applications and advanced tools, competing for prize money of around $50,000 from various competitions. The event's reputation as a launchpad for groundbreaking blockchain projects continues to be reinforced by the remarkable success stories of projects born during the hackathon.

ETHWarsaw's returning sponsors include RedStone Oracles, Arweave, Octant, Scroll, IPOR, with additional support from various companies for the vol2 campaign, such as Lukso, zkSync, Request Network, PROPERLY, Beamer Bridge, Mantle & Chronicle, and more.
