1. Introduction
Aragon is a blockchain on the Ethereum blockchain that allows anyone to create and manage any organization (companies, open source projects, NGOs, foundations, hedge funds...) dApps. Aragon Network is a token-controlled digital governance organization focused on creating the best conditions for economic growth. Essentially, Aragon Network is an ecosystem that allows any organization, entrepreneurs and investors to collaborate efficiently and securely, without technical vulnerabilities and malicious parties.
The on-chain organization of the Aragon Network will be built using Aragon Core, which consists of a Solidity language decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) and a web-side decentralized application (dApp). In the beginning, Aragon Core will focus on capitalized corporate-type organizations, but its modularity is sufficient for other kinds of organizations as well. Aragon Token (ANT) is the native token of Aragon Network, which is mainly used to manage Aragon Network and mortgage Aragon Network Membership Agreement.
2. Project introduction
Aragon Network is a digital governance organization controlled by tokens. The goal is to create an efficient and secure collaboration for any organization, entrepreneurs and investors, and An ecosystem free of technical vulnerabilities and malicious parties. The on-chain organization of Aragon Network will be built using Aragon Core, which consists of a Solidity language decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) and a web-side decentralized application (DApp). In the beginning, Aragon Core will focus on capitalized corporate-type organizations, but its modularity is sufficient for other kinds of organizations as well.
Create and operate a decentralized organization on the blockchain.
The value realized by innovation: Compared with traditional organizations, decentralized organizations operate extremely efficiently.
Scale of usage scenarios: Applicable to companies (corporate organizations that initially focus on capitalization), open source projects, NGO organizations, foundations, hedge funds, etc. Users do not need a professional technical background, and can use the User-friendly graphical interface to operate.
Out-of-the-Box Features:
Out of the box, Aragon provides a variety of core features. It has a module for identity management and closely related modules for ownership and access control. Other modules include shareholder voting, fundraising through token generation, HR onboarding and payroll, and accounts payable/receivable. In summary, Aragon's core functions cover the key aspects of accounting, governance and identity that make modern companies work.
Modular customization:
Aragon's modular design doesn't stop at the standard core modules. Just as companies can edit existing modules, they are free to develop entirely new models. They can also develop the data and structure of existing models for extended functionality.
Aragon's modular nature, combined with its open-source ethos, means we could see an entire ecosystem of free-to-use modules that expand the capacity of the Aragon organization.
Digital Jurisdiction:
Aragorn's stated goal is to establish a digital jurisdiction. Just as the state has jurisdiction over its citizens in court, Aragon wants to create the first digital court that does not operate along state borders, but instead enforces digital contracts between organizations on the Aragon platform.
Aragon is built on Ethereum, a global public blockchain platform that never goes down. Second, build through Aragon Core, which is composed of DAO and DApp in Solidity language. Aragon currently implements the basic functions of the shareholder register, token transfer, voting, job appointment, financing, accounting and other organizational functions. The behavior of organizations on the Aragon chain can be customized by modifying the bylaws. Finally, the Aragon organization is extensible through third-party modules that connect smart contracts.
Aragon is liquid, democratic, and governed through the Aragon Network. Aragon has an Aragon governance proposal (AGP), each AGP detailing the changes to be made to the management, allocation, and use of Aragon network shared resources. All AGPs must be aligned with the goals and values of the community. The purpose of AGP is to provide a structured decision-making process for changes to the shared resources of the Aragon network. For the adjustment of shared resources, DAO participants need to jointly decide to agree/deny access, or approve/reject the proposal.
The native token on the Aragon network is called the Aragon net-work token (abbreviated as ANT). ANT represents the user's token share size in his DAO. Members in the DAO can initiate proposals on the rules and governance of the organization, and then other members vote according to the size of the token shares they hold to decide whether to accept the proposal. It should be pointed out that the initiator of the proposal also needs to deposit a certain amount of ANT as collateral to encourage the proposer to initiate beneficial proposals.
