How to Check Block Confirmations? (Web Version)

Updated on:

Block confirmation refers to the process where miners include your deposit or withdrawal transaction data into a block (data block). Each time a block confirmation is completed, it means one block confirmation has been achieved. Different cryptocurrencies require different numbers of block confirmations under various networks.

For example: When we withdraw digital assets to the blockchain, the assets will eventually be packed into a block by miners. Before being packed, the confirmation count for these assets is set to 0, meaning 0 confirmations. Once the transaction is packed into the latest block and verified by miners, the confirmation count increases by 1. Subsequently, each new block generated will add 1 to the confirmation count of this transaction until the required number of confirmations for the deposit is reached. The more confirmations there are, the harder it becomes to tamper with the blockchain data, making the transaction more secure.

How to Check Block Confirmations?
To find out the required block confirmations for a specific cryptocurrency deposit, you can follow these steps:
1. Open the BitKan webpage — click on [Wallet] in the upper right corner — select [Deposit];

2. Choose the cryptocurrency you wish to deposit, such as [USDT] — select the available deposit network for USDT, for example, [TRX Tron (TRC20)].

At the bottom of the deposit page, you can view the required deposit confirmations and unlock withdrawal confirmations for the selected cryptocurrency. The assets will only be credited once the actual block confirmations reach the required deposit confirmations. You can also copy the "Blockchain Transaction ID / Txid / Hash" to check more details about the confirmation count of this deposit on a blockchain explorer.
