NEAR is the native token of the NEAR protocol, a highly scalable blockchain network that provides a developer-friendly decentralized application platform. In this article we will talk about whether the Near Protocol is faster than Solana and how the NEAR token will be doing in 2022 . Let's find out by reading the article below.

What is the NEAR protocol?

Near Protocol is an L1 blockchain that first emerged in 2018 and was originally designed to provide higher throughput, faster speeds, low-cost transactions, and cross-chain compatibility.

Is NEAR protocol faster than SOLANA?

Since these blockchains are based on proof-of-stake consensus protocols, all blockchains have a higher degree of centralization than Bitcoin, where miners from around the world contribute hashing power to decentralize the network.

Two reliable metrics we can use to measure the decentralization of a PoS chain are the percentage of total staked supply and the number of validators. If more people are staking their tokens, they are decentralizing the network. In this regard, Solana has an advantage over Near and Fantom with over 75% of the total supply. Fantom followed with 47% and NEAR with 44%.

In terms of validators, Solana again won with over 2,000 validators, while Near has 100 validators and Fantom has 60 validators. Fantom has been criticized for being the most centralized chain because a handful of whale wallets own the vast majority of FTM tokens, even more NEAR and Solana.

Solana has the fastest crypto transaction time at 40ms, faster than both NEAR and Fantom (5x NEAR and 60x Fantom). Solana's fees are also comparable to NEAR, while Fantom's fees are the highest, averaging 1.5 cents.

How is the NEAR token doing in 2022?

NEAR Protocol (NEAR) appears to be one of the highest-yielding cryptocurrencies this year. NEAR is considered a good investment for 2022, based on the record achievements of the NEAR protocol over the past few months.

On the other hand, PricePrediction sees the NEAR protocol falling to between $14.88 – $16.82 at its peak price in 2022. They also expect the average price of the coin to remain at $15.41.

So I hope this article will help you to learn whether the Near Protocol is faster than Solana and how the NEAR token will be doing in 2022. NEAR has quickly entered the top 20 cryptocurrencies, but is still in its early stages of development. Before making a big investment, it's a good idea to keep an eye on its progress.

What is bridging? How do I do ETH to Solana bridge?

Cryptocurrencies have opened up new avenues for investment and trade, but their various networks and protocols can make it challenging to move assets between them. This is where bridging comes in – a process that allows users to transfer their assets seamlessly between different blockchain networks. One such popular bridging process is ETH to Solana bridge, which enables the transfer of Ethereum-based tokens to the Solana blockchain. In this article, we will delve into what bridging is, how it works, and how to use it for the ETH to Solana bridge.
